AS A RAY OF BRIGHT LIGHT SHINES THROUGH THE DARKNESS

Who wouldn't want to fly freely across the sky?
But the reality is otherwise.
Then how can we get a feeling of flying high?

Someone who has Karma with Zen pratice
will come to experience in person
the meaning of those words
all of a sudden at the end of earnest retreat.
What is this principle?

As a ray of bright light shines brilliantly
through the darkness,
Bodhisattva of the air turns up its music.
a stone lady sings,
and a stone jangseung dances,

Amid the dizziness of endless turning,
an unconcerned man has suddenly lost the trace of time.
