What Matters is Whether
You Know or Not

Why are you trying to find
What has already been revealed in front of your eyes?
Moving around amid what has been revealed,
You are so foolish as to fail to know what it is.

If the principle mentioned above were clearly understood,
To get enlightened would be a silly thing,
And to say we must get enlightened would be nonsense.

However,
As it does matter whether you know it or not,
You should know it clearly.

Falling down with the wind,
Snow never falls down anywhere else.
If asked where it is falling,
I would lift one of my fingers and show it.
